Our Services

Vaccinations
Ensuring your pet is up to date on yearly vaccinations helps protect them against potentially serious and even fatal diseases like parvovirus, leptospirosis, and feline leukaemia virus. They are also required by most pet insurance companies!

Parasite Treatment
Regular parasite prevention is the best way to ensure your pet isn't carrying or spreading any unwanted passengers. A few interesting facts about pet parasites:
- Ticks can spread a number of infectious diseases, including Lyme's disease
- It can take 3 months or more to clear a flea infestation from your home
- Dogs can carry a type of roundworm which can infect and cause permanent blindness in small childrem
Prevention is definitely better that a cure on this one!

Nutrition
From life stage to prescription diets, we can help advise the best dietary option for your pet. Commercial diets not for you? We also work with a veterinary nutritionist who can create bespoke homemade recipes to ensure your pet is getting everything they need to live their best life.

Neutering
Neutering recommendations have changed a lot over the last few years. In addition to preventing surprise litters, for many pets it can also provide health benefits like reducing the risk of certain cancers. We can help advise you on whether neutering is the right option for your pet, and if so, when is the best time for them.

Microchipping
A microchip is a tiny implant (about the size of a grain of rice) placed under the skin which carries a unique number. This number is registered in an online database and linked to your contact information. This means if your pet is ever lost, they can be reunited with you. Microchipping is required by law for all dogs 8 weeks of age and older, and is strongly recommended for cats!

Dentistry
Did you know 80% of pets have signs of dental disease by 4 years of age? Or that dental disease has been linked to liver, kidney, and even heart issues? From preventative care to routine cleaning to tooth extractions, we can help take care of your pet's dental health needs.

Illness & Injury
When your pet isn't quite themselves, we're here to help. Whether it's a dicky tummy or itchy skin, we can help get them back into fighting shape.

Diagnostic Imaging
On site x-ray and ultrasonography helps us investigate a multitude of medical conditions, whether it be vomiting caused by a foreign body ingestion, coughing because of feline asthma, or a sore leg due to a cruciate ligament rupture.

Weight Clinics
Just like in people, being overweight can have major knock-on health implications for our pets. It can affect their joint health, cancer risk, cardiac function, and diabetes risk among others. But where are those extra calories coming from? How do you know if you're on the right track? How do you keep that weight off once it's finally shifted? That's where weight clinics come in. Yep, it's weight watchers for dogs and cats. And to top it off, we think weight management is so important that we've made it completely FREE.

Pain Management
We believe pets deserve to be pain free, to enable them to have the best possible quality of life. But our pets live so much in the moment that they often don't always show us their discomfort in ways we might expect. And pain management options for veterinary patients are constantly evolving. Whether your pet is experiencing dental pain, arthritis, cancer pain, or a joint injury - we're here to help figure out the best way to monitor and manage it.

Soft Tissue Surgery
We provide a wide range of soft tissue surgery - neutering, lump removal, gastropexy, enucleation, foreign body removal, amputation, wound repair, and more.

Orthopaedics
If your pet needs bone or joint surgery, for example to plate a broken bone or repair and cruciate ligament injury, we have a visiting orthopaedic surgeon to provide the treatment and follow up they need in the familiar setting of their local vets, without the long trips to specialist hospitals.

Behaviour
Maybe your pet is a rescue who didn't have the best start in life. Maybe a covid puppy who didn't get enough opportunity for socialisation. Maybe there's a new baby or new pet in the house. Maybe they have terrible noise phobia, or are terrified of going to the vet. Whatever the situation, understanding and managing pet behaviour can be challenging. We aim to make vet visits for you and your pet as calm and fear free as possible, and offer guidance on how to help them cope.

Nurse Clinics
Our fabulous registered veterinary nurses offer a range of services, including nail clips, anal gland expression, weight clinics, dental checks, wellness checks, nutritional advice, and so much more!
